As a few of you may have guessed by my constant unsuccessful attempts to bring it up on other message boards, I have a HUGE obsession with The Edge Chronicles, by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell. You don't have to know anything about the books, however, to appreciate my drawings.

By the way, as you can see from my signature on the drawings, my real name is Matthew Chapman.

This is a side view image of the Edge. In this book series, this is the world.

Man, it looks more huge than Paris with all of those houses, and I can't belive you did that, and on a paper FTW. That's seriously one of the most amazing pics I ever saw!

OMG an Edge Chronicles Mod? THAT would be hard...but I'd go into shock with happiness if someone made one.

It's never been specifically revealed how big all this stuff is, but by my own guess, it's actually probably bigger than the whole nation of France. If you were to zoom in, you'd see that each of those "houses" is actually enormous.

Wow, there are some impressive drawings here, Falfulfan, you put a lot of detail into these. Do you plan on coloring any of them in?

If he colours them, he may as well quit playing SRB2. Shocked

There is about a 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of me trying to color these in. Coloring wouldn't go well with the kind of shading I do, and they haven't invented a marker thin enough for me to color some of those tiny buildings. Thanks for your comments, though. There's actually another drawing that I'm still working on, which I might put up soon.

I look forward to seeing it whenever you get to post it. :P And yeah, coloring them in on paper would be a pain. You could always blow up the image in Gimp/Photoshop (Or whatever Image Manipulation program you use.) and color it on the PC from there. Although I bet it would take forever to finish even one drawing that way.

There's also the issue that I like to leave the colors up to the imagination of the viewer. Practically none of the illustrations in the real books were colored, so I don't have a frame of reference. All I would know is the sky and water is blue, and the the surrounding Deepwoods is dark green.

Oh, I've read Inheritance and Charlie Bone! I couldn't get into Inkheart though. I still really recommend the Edge Chronicles...have my drawings not aroused your curiosity?
