Boosting problems
Too many people are telling me they have the inability to boost in the newest SRB2U exe. The solution everytime has been the same:
You need to assign the new Action Button 1 to a key in order for boost to work, since it uses that command.
If you have any other questions regarding boost problems, talk here about it.

Ya, I found that instantly accelerating was too overpowered, I preferred it when you had to be in you running state before you could boost.

Why would you still have to use the lightdash key to activate boost? Do you have an older EXE?

Re: Boosting problems
It is an action used in SRB2CB. But pressing the action button while pressing one of the arrow keys, you accelerate to fast speeds while invincible. Only to be used in overpowered levels like SRB2U.

Well, last I heard, Flame was working on a boosting system that looked better than what we currently have, and have a meter so it can't be used at all times....
But then again, Flame procrastinates soooo badly....
